We mourn the loss of
Karl Schlecht

“An entrepreneur is someone who constantly outgrows himself on the way to his vision and pulls others along so that everyone wins!” was Karl Schlecht's definition of active entrepreneurship.

Dear friends of the KSG,

Our founder and Board Chairman Prof. h.c. Dr. h.c. Dipl. Ing. Karl Schlecht passed away on August 21st after a brief illness.

Karl Schlecht was an extraordinary person, successful entrepreneur and philanthropist whose life and work left a deep impression on all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a man who pursued his visions with passion, dedication and great perseverance, always putting people at the center of everything he did.

It is with deep gratitude that we bid farewell to our founder, a mentor who gave us more than words can express. We will miss Karl Schlecht. His ideas and goals will live on within us - in our actions, our decisions and in what we pass on to the next generation. His legacy will live on in our hearts.

A public memorial service is planned for September. Further information will be published on our website in due course.

Always remembered
